Level 1 Horticulture and Animal Care Students Visit Kingswood
Learners at WVTC visited the Kingswood Outdoor Centre for a period of 6 weeks that encompassed opportunities for both work experience and practical based course work.
They carried out Coppicing to encourage tree growth and learned how to remove fallen trees safely. The students also participated in caring for poultry, sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs. Most of the students enjoyed it so much they expressed a desire to return and carry out voluntary work there.
