Student’s support greatly appreciated at Beacon Centre for the Blind

Four Year 13 students are currently undertaking a community work experience placement at Beacon Centre for the Blind.

Over a 6-week period the students will be supporting the staff and in-patients in a range of activities including cooking, social interaction, entertainment, fitness sessions in the gym, creative craft sessions and also supporting a social enterprise called the Fab Lab which helps raise funds for the Beacon Centre.

All four of the students have received very positive feedback from the project manager complimenting them on their patience, diligence and efforts whilst at the centre. Well done and keep up the good work lads!
