Life at WVTC

Dear Visitor,

I do hope you will find the information on our website helpful. It is not possible to include all of the information about the organisation of the centre and work programmes for the students on the website, but I hope it gives a flavour of what we offer.

We are a unique Vocational Training Centre that opened as a Free School in 2015. As part of the Central Learning Partnership Trust we moved into our new purpose-built facilities, based in Ettingshall, in September 2017. Our Centre offers vocational training and work-related opportunities to young people between the ages of 16-19 with an EHCP. We also offer 1 and 2 day Alternative Provision placements for students with an EHCP or if they are on their host school’s SEND register.

We hope that our students will be happy and motivated by our approach to teaching and learning and that they grow in confidence, build on their strengths and eventually leave us as well-rounded young citizens.

Our main focus is to prepare our students for an independent and positive future following their interests and aspirations.
